Snapbox Self Storage is actively monitoring COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and its implications. During these uncertain times let us reassure you that we are taking all steps as a company to ensure the safety and health of our employees and customers. This is our top priority. We will continue to adapt our business to follow all WHO and CDC regulations and procedures.
In an effort to ensure a safe environment for both our customers and employees through COVID-19, we are introducing a process that allows us to continue operating our stores while maintaining social distancing.
Effective immediately, our sales center and store office employees will conduct customer move-ins by utilizing Esign technology and taking credit card payments over the phone. This new process of communicating with move-in customers over the phone and through email is designed to maximize adherence to social distancing and provide a no-contact move-in.
We are pleased to highlight the many contact-free interaction options for interacting with Snapbox Self Storage that doesn’t include physically coming to our stores. Snapbox Self Storage is one of the few storage companies that offer electronic and phone alternatives to personal interaction. Keeping Our Facilities Clean
Our stores are being provided with additional hand sanitizer and disinfectant supplies and the frequency of sanitizing surfaces has been increased. Additional handwashing and sanitization of offices has been in place for the past weeks and will continue.
We want our employees to feel safe and supported during this challenging time. We have implemented employee policies for easier access to paid and unpaid leaves of absence to encourage employees to follow any and all CDC guidelines – including staying home when sick.
At Snapbox, we realize many of our customers are depending on their storage units for supply chain continuity. Snapbox Self Storage will make every effort to remain open unless required to close due to emergency precaution or mandate. Our current plan is to keep our self storage locations open and operating to support our customers’ efforts in supporting communities and maintaining stability.
In the event that we are alerted that a store office has been exposed to a confirmed case of COVID-19, we will immediately close the office until we can have it properly cleaned and made safe for reopening.
Truck Rental Status
Some Snapbox locations may have suspended truck rentals. Please call your Snapbox store to check if truck rentals are still being conducted at that location. We apologize if truck rentals have been suspended at your store and you were planning to use our vehicles for an upcoming move, but we believe this is a responsible action for our customers and employees at certain locations.
